Be A True Witness

“A true witness delivers souls, But a deceitful witness speaks lies.” – Proverbs 14:25  (NKJV)

According to the dictionary, the word ‘witness’, when used as a verb, is a person who openly professes knowledge of something — for example, one’s religious faith.

In the world in which we live today, we really need to openly profess our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ where ever we go and to whoever we come into contact. We need to tell all that He (Jesus) is the way, the truth, and that He gives life to souls that are lost and dying. It is important to do so because His coming is nearer now than before.

We must not be ignorant to the fact that the ears of all people are bombarded with many so-called truths. Different sects in society are vying to get their attention via social media and other platforms; they are seeking to influence the minds of vulnerable individuals using deceitful means. Sad to say, some are making headway, and people are falling into their trap of lies.

It is for this reason that those of us who are equipped with the Gospel message need to wake up and “get with the program”. As we would say, ‘witness to someone who needs to hear the truth’. Just look carefully; lost souls are all around us. They are in our home, at our place of employment, at the supermarket, at the gym, at the basketball court, on the bus, in our ZOOM classrooms, and the list goes on.

Today, I would like to remind all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, that we have life in our tongues to deliver souls from physical and spiritual death (Proverbs 18:21). Now is the time to act because tomorrow does not belong to any of us. We too must utilise the various social media platforms to permeate our sphere of influence with the Gospel message. Let us not shy away. We need to be relevant since this message is only the truth that will cause persons to be set free from the bondage of sin (John 8:32).

Amen. Oh my, it is in my family. Siblings don’t want to hear but when need arises, be it sickness etc. they know where to turn.
We all have a story and the unsaved need to hear it. So true.
    God Bless you Sis 🙏
